We are committed to creating a safe and respectful environment for all users. In order to maintain this environment, we have established the following community policy.

Respect for All: all members are expected to treat each other with respect. Discrimination or hate speech based on age, gender, ethnicity, religion, or any other characteristic will not be tolerated.
Authenticity: please be genuine. Use your real name, and ensure your profile photos and descriptions are honest representations. Catfishing or misleading members is strictly prohibited.
No Commercial Activity or Spam: members should not use Hadoo for commercial promotions or spamming. Profiles or messages that engage in such activities will be removed.
Privacy is Paramount: respect the privacy of others. Do not share or disclose any personal information of another member without their explicit consent.
No Harassment: any form of harassment, whether through messages or in person during Hadoo-organised events, is strictly against our community standards. Report any uncomfortable encounters to our support team immediately.
Safety and Consent: participate in activities and communicate with others in a manner that ensures safety. Any content or behaviour that threatens the safety of community members is unacceptable.
Inclusivity: embrace and encourage diversity in all forms. Engage with empathy and understand that every member has their unique interests and viewpoints.
Constructive Communication: while disagreements are natural, they should be approached constructively. Avoid personal attacks, name-calling, or any form of derogatory remarks.
Content Sharing: share responsibly. Ensure that any content you post, whether photos, videos, or texts, is respectful and does not infringe on the rights of others.
Report & Flag: if you encounter behaviour that violates our policy, please report it. Your reports help keep our community safe and respectful.

Is imeetu for everyone?

No. imeetu is only for singles between the ages of 35 and 65 who follow our community policy.

Is imeetu a dating site?

No, imeetu is not a dating site but an app that facilitates singles to meet new singles based on shared interests to have great times together. If a love relationship grows out of one of those encounters, that is a happy outcome, but it is not the purpose of this app.

Can I search for people based on gender and age?

No. Imeetu only selects interests and is not a search site for singles with public profiles. You only choose activities to participate in, you do not select individual profiles. So age, sex, gender preference, religion and so on cannot play any role in the composition of the group. You choose an event purely based on your interests and needs, not on personal profiles of the organiser and/or participants.

When will I find out who I will meet?

When you register as a participant in an activity, you and the other participants get access to a private chat box where you can have prior contact. In it you are visible with your name. The same goes for the organiser of an activity.

How many participants does an activity have?

Each activity must have at least three participants, including the organiser. It is the organiser who freely decides the maximum number of participants the group can have.

Who can organise an activity?

Every participant has the opportunity to organise an activity. For example, do you really want to go see a movie at the cinema? Then you create your activity. You decide the location, the movie, the time and the number of participants.

There are also professional partners of imeetu who organise activities that every member can subscribe to. For example, would you like to have a drink on a Friday night after work in a bar in town? Then you can register for this event and meet other imeetu members on the spot.

When is an activity cancelled?

When there are less than 3 participants including the organiser, the event will not take place. Then the organiser can arrange another time in consultation with the only participant so that there is more time for interested participants to join. Or cancel the event in case of insufficient interest.

An event does not have to be fully booked to go ahead!

Can we also meet separately from imeetu?

Meetings lead to personal relationships at best. Each member is free to exchange contact information among themselves after a meeting and build a personal relationship with other members. Imeetu bears no responsibility for contacts outside the app and imeetu activities. So please decide for yourself thoughtfully when and with whom you share contact information.

What if someone is disrespectful?

Do you notice that someone is disrespectful or behaves excessively during an activity or in the accompanying private chat box? Please send a mail to help@imeetu.be or call us at +32 475 60 38 94. We follow up on every complaint because imeetu is and will remain a safe environment. Do we receive multiple complaints about someone? Then we will deny that person access to the app.

What data is shared with other participants when I register for an activity?

When you register as a participant in an activity, you, along with the other participants and the organiser, get access to a private chat box in which you can interact with each other in advance. In it you are visible with your name. Otherwise, no data is shared.

What does imeetu do with my data?

imeetu is fully GDPR-proof. This means that personal information is not shared. Not with third parties nor with other members of the imeetu community.

How and when can I cancel imeetu?

Your membership, depending on your subscription, can be cancelled free of charge monthly or annually.

Is imeetu free?

No, it is not free. imeetu is a paid app. This is how we keep imeetu free of ads. A subscription costs 27 euros per month. Do you immediately make yourself a member for a year? Then you pay only 270 euros.
